Design Consultation

The first step is a meeting with you in your your garden to establish which elements you wish to improve. This is free of charge.

The next step is a Consultation on site visit to conduct a detailed analysis of your garden and formulate a design brief. Photographs are taken and an indepth discussion happens to establish your design requirements. If the site is large or sloping, a formal site survey will be advised

Design Plan

The next step is to draw up a hand rendered working drawing. Four meetings happen to go over details, discussing then finalising the main design layout and garden elements. A digital master plan will also be produced. Any exisiting plants to be incorporated into the new plan are plotted on the design

Even the most seemingly simple contemporary gardens with clean arctitectural lines and good bone structure need to be complemented and softened with abundant planting. It is important to echo elements from the interior of the clients home. Lush and exuberant planting brings the garden to life where growing conditions allow

Visualisation

Once the main structure of your garden has been established, a three dimensional sketch is provided to help you visualise the space

Construction

Finally a detailed specification drawing is provided for the landcape contractor to use as a guide for the build. For any extra elements in the garden such as steps, pergolas and water features, constructions drawings are drawn up and provided as a separate design requirement

Design Specifications

A highly trusted Landscape Contractor will be recommended for the build of your garden which will be carried out in a professional manner and to as short a time scale as possible

Planting design

You may have a blank canvas and want a new planting plan that provides interest throughout the seasons or an existing garden which is structurally well designed but has tired planting or gaps and needs a re-vamp. I can offer a planting service to suit your needs.

I measure up the space and prepare a planting plan outlining varieties, quantities and spacing. An elevation sketch illustrating the space helps you visualise the look. I source plants using a small selection of trusted specialist nurseries to provide quality plants
